Rafael Goldchain is an professional photographer, who was born in 1953 of Polish-Jewish heritage in Santiago, Chile and educated in Jerusalem, Israel before moving to Toronto, Canada in the late 1970s. Rafael received his MFA at York University and a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Photographic Studies at Ryerson University.

For his “Inventario” series, the Canadian photographer captured the colorful interiors of México and Central America in the 1980s and 1990s. His beautiful interiors reflect a melting pot of cultures and the rapid changes in society at that time.
